This type of ceremony will involve a Minister and Civil Registrar.

The religious part will be performed by a representative of their own religious belief (i.e. a Priest for Catholic, a Minister for Protestant, a Celebrant for Hindu and Buddhist and a Penghulu for Moslem).

There are also required to present a “Certificate of No Impediment” or similar document issued by their Consulate or Embassy Representative within Indonesia for the Civil Ceremony. Requirements to obtain Certificate of No Impediment will be based on their Nationalities and we will advice these upon requests.

There will be two Certificates presented at the end of the ceremony.

Wedding Full Legal Ceremony with inclusion:

• A bridal bouquet and a buttonhole for bride and groom
• Rindik Musician
• Balinese Flower Girls
• A Wedding Cake
• Complimentary a glass of Hatten Wine
• Flower Arrangement upon arrival
• Fruit Basket upon arrival
• Fee for the Minister
• Fee for the Civil Registrar (including their transportation)

It is important to know that this is not a Legal wedding ceremony and no certification will be provided at the end of it. It is a ceremony in which the Celebrant prays for good things such as safety, health and happiness for them both.

Please be advised that it is nor possible for any persons who are not genuinely of the Balinese Hindu faith to be married in the Balinese Hindu Style. Many couple who are already legally married or, for some reason don’t wish to be legally married in Bali but do wish to experience a Balinese Ceremony may experience a Balinese Blessing Ceremony.

A Balinese Celebrant and an assistant who guide the couple through the ceremony perform it. It takes approximately 20 minutes in total; the couples are sitting in front of the Celebrant with various offerings. The Celebrant will hand them various offerings one by one and they will copy the Celebrant’s prayer movements with each offering received. Towards the end of the ceremony it is asked that the couple feed each other a small portion of offering prepared by the Celebrant as a symbolic gesture of union.

It is preferred that the Balinese Blessing Ceremony, couples are dressed in Balinese Costume.
